We may have a lot of photos on our Android phone, especially if we have been working with it for a few years and have never dumped it on our Windows computer.
Surely this is a good time and you have decided to free up space on your smartphone and of course the first thing you have to do is save the amount of photos and videos that you have had for a long time.
As usual, you have decided so that it does not take up space on the Android device by transferring all these files to your PC where you have Windows 10 or Windows 11.
Here this article makes everyone sense as we are going to show you different ways to transfer all the photos that you have on your Android device to your computer.

connection to the PC
The easiest way to transfer your photos is to copy them directly from your phone to your computer using a cable.
Let’s say we’ve all spent most of our time like this.
First we connect the phone to a USB port on the PC. Now on the phone we swipe down from the top of the screen until we see the one for the USB connection. Click Media Device (MTP) File Transfer. Then the Windows file explorer opens automatically in the main folder of the Android device. Now we need to enter the DCIM folder. From here it depends on each phone but the normal thing is to enter camera. Then it’s the moment where we can copy, drag or cut the photos that come out to a folder on our computer. It’s that simple. Use Windows Photos
We can also use the Windows Photos application to import the snaps that we have on our phone.
It is done as follows:
We open the photo application in Windows. on your PC. Then we click on Matter (top right) and select the mobile that we have connected to the computer. The application generates all photos from the device. Now we mark the ones we want to share and if we want all of them, click Select All. we enter in Add. Next we will be asked where we want to add it, to include it in the cloud if it is activated, in a mask already created or in one that we can create new at this time. Then we enter Matter and we have all the photos in the desired place. Using Google Photos
We have Google Photos at our disposal to achieve the same thing that we did in the previous cases.
Let’s see the steps to follow:
We open the Google Photos application on our Android. We touch the icon of our profile and then make sure that the Backup option is active. If not, we need to activate it. We need to make sure that there is enough space in your Google Cloud storage to store all your photos. Once the backup is complete we go to our computer and go to the Google Photos website and log in with the same account that we have on the phone. Now we select those that we want to save on the computer. If we want to save them all, we press the first photo, hold down the Shift key and then select the last photo. So they are all automatically selected. We click on the three dots icon in the upper right corner and select Download. The photos are saved as a ZIP file in the default download folder. Using Microsoft OneDrive
Another service that can be used to download cell phone photos is Microsoft OneDrive.
It’s that easy:
We open the application on the phone and log in with our Microsoft account. We press photos below. We tap on the Load camera option and then on Activate. If we install the OneDrive app on Windows and we use the same mobile account, they will be synchronized and a folder will be created where everything will be shared, that is, both the mobile phone and what we put on the PC. This means that the photos that we have synced will appear in this folder and now we can copy, drag or cut them from the computer’s internal memory wherever we want. Mobile Link works for us too
The Enlace Móvil application that comes with Windows 11 and that we also have in Android terminals, either as standard or to download from the Google Play Store, will help us in our task today.
We need to do the following:
The first thing you need to do is link the Android phone to the Windows Mobile Link app. After linking the phone we select the Photos option in the Phone Link application on our PC and then we will see all the photos on the phone. Right-click a photo you want to download and select Save As.
The downside of Phone Link is that there is no way to select multiple photos at once and download them to your PC. This means that this tool is most useful for downloading just a few photos.
Now that you know these 5 ways to copy your photos to your computer, all you have to do is try them and choose the one that suits you best.
