Those looking to add a little jazz to their vegan dining experience can head to North Star Lounge, Detroit Street Filling Station’s sister eatery. Inspired by the New Orleans music scene, the lounge claims to be Michigan’s first vegan bar.

From meatball subs to pesto pasta, Vegano Italiano offers exclusively vegan Italian food. Although the restaurant opened in a stationary location in Ypsilanti, it has recently been converted into a food truck.
