Adam Levine’s texts become a meme as internet users entertain new trend

Adam Levine’s Instagram DMs took over the internet as people turned his lyrics into a meme, and now it’s become a whole new trend.

Social media was teeming with screenshots of Levine’s lyrics, which were posted by social media influencer Sumner Stroh, who claimed to be having an affair with the Maroon 5 singer.

However, Levine has since come forward and denied those allegations. Nonetheless, the internet seems to have invented a new trend of its own with the information published.

Adam Levine responds to allegations

The online drama began when Sumner came forward and made some serious allegations against the Maroon 5 singer. In a TikTok, she claimed she was “tricked” into having an affair with the singer, while adding that she was “young and naive.”

Adam then came forward in an interview with TMZ and denied allegations of cheating. He said: “I have used poor judgment when speaking in a flirtatious manner to anyone other than my wife. I didn’t have an affair. Still, I crossed the line at an unfortunate time in my life. In certain cases it became inappropriate. I have addressed this and taken proactive steps to resolve this with my family.”

The singer added, “My wife and family are all I care about in this world. Being naïve and stupid enough to risk the only thing that really matters to me was the biggest mistake I could ever make. I’ll never make it again I take full responsibility. We will get through it and we will get through it together.”

Adam Levine’s lyrics become a meme

If you’ve come across edited photos of Levine’s text, you’re not the only one. The internet started its own trend where people added different pictures and edited the DMs sent by the singer.

In fact, Hilary Duff’s husband, Matthew Koma, has also jumped on the trend. The lyrics read: “Holy f***k. Holy damn shit. Your body is absurd.

The trend then is for people to add their own photos or silly pics at the top to make it look like Levine replied to it.
