AFFIN BANK, MDI AND BERRY PAY LAUNCH THE FIRST E-LINSOLVENSI

MOBILE APPLICATION

KUALA LUMPUR: Affin Bank Berhad (“AFFIN BANK” or “the Bank”) and Affin Islamic Bank Berhad (“AFFIN ISLAMIC”) has a tripartite collaboration with the Malaysian Ministry of Insolvency (MdI) and Berry Pay (M) Sdn. Bhd. (BerryPay) to launch the mobile application e-linsolvensi (mobile app).

The mobile app complements the existing web portal of e-linsolvensi, which offers online insolvency services and payment options for the public and MdI stakeholders. The services and facilities are now accessible via the app, offering the public and stakeholders a personalized mobile experience to carry out their tasks in a safer and more convenient way. The app allows the public and stakeholders to conduct bankruptcy research on individual debtors and companies anytime, anywhere, and make payments for requested deposits and monthly installments or contributions. MdI provides e-payment services to the public and its stakeholders via Internet Bank GIRO (IBG) transfers, Financial Process Exchange (FPX) payments, JomPay and card terminals. The mobile app will enhance the public experience and is part of the development of online digital options for better access to MdI’s services and facilities.

The official launch of the e-linsolvensi mobile app recently took place at the new AFFIN BANK headquarters, Menara AFFIN @ TRX in the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX). The opening ceremony was presided over by Director General for Bankruptcy, YBhg.Dato’ Anita Harun, President

BerryPay Malaysia, as one of the partners in this collaboration, is responsible for the development of the e-linsolvensi mobile application. BerryPay Malaysia is a Financial Technology (Fintech) company providing digital financial solutions and mobile application development services.

They specialize in digital collections and payment solutions, including e-government payment solutions.
