AI pioneers claim that ChatGPT, Bing and Bard will boost creativity and replace menial tasks to improve human performance

Pakyong, February 19: Krishna C. Mukherjee, an Indian-born US computer engineer major, has devoted his career to studying artificial intelligence, and he believes humans and AI have a mutually beneficial relationship. Ever since he began working on the new technology stream in the late 1980s, Mukherjee has maintained that AI is a collaboration between humans and machines to achieve the best results. Microsoft has long integrated AI into its Word and Excel software and cloud computing platforms like Azure. In a phone interview with IndianExpress.com, the technology pioneer explains that this version of ChatGPT in [Bing] is just an extension of it. Indian-American computer engineer Krishna C. Mukherjee has insisted that artificial intelligence (AI) is a collaboration between humans and machines to achieve the best results since he started working on the new technology flow in the late 1980s. With their ability to interact like humans, it’s surprising how ChatGPT or AI-powered Bing can deliver remarkable results, speeding up and simplifying the search process. Meige warns against blindly relying on these AI chatbots because they still make factual errors. The output of these chatbots is probabilistic, so the answer is occasionally factually incorrect. No matter how sophisticated these chatbots get, there’s still a journalist to hire. Fact checking is a crucial skill for journalists, but AI systems like ChatGPT don’t have it yet, Meige says.
