The first of the month is a great time for movies. 113 titles are coming to Prime Video on Saturday, October 1st, including Jennifer’s body.
There’s plenty to see on Prime Video this weekend. After all, today is the first of the month. That means the day with the big list of releases. Just keep in mind that this list of releases isn’t meant to be seen in its entirety this weekend. They will need more time and there will be quiet days on Prime Video.
But what can you see this weekend? If you’re in the mood for some dark comedy, you should turn to Jennifer’s body. The 2009 film falls yet again, and we typically only see this release for a couple of months before going elsewhere.
Megan Fox plays Jennifer, a hot high school girl possessed by a demon. She’s starting to turn her attention to guys who never had a chance with her before, but she’s in the mood for more than attention. When her friend realizes what’s going on, she tries to put an end to the situation.
Edward Scissorhands, Law Abiding Citizen and more
For those who want a goth movie, Edward with the scissor hands can be seen this weekend. It needs absolutely no introduction as you’ve probably seen it over and over again. It’s perfect for the spookiest month of the year.
How about a crime thriller? This is one that will make you think. After the murder of his wife and daughter, Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) only wants justice. That’s not possible when District Attorney Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx) cuts a deal with one of the killers for testimony. When this man is found dead 10 years later, Shelton immediately admits his guilt. He has a much bigger plan to fix the broken justice system, and Nick should have his back.
