AMD graphics driver boosts performance by up to 16% in The Lord of the Rings: Gollum

AMD has released a graphics driver for its Radeon GPUs that adds support for Daedalic’s The Lord of the Rings: Gollum. The Radeon Software Adrenalin 23.5.1 driver improves the performance of the RX 6000 and RX 7900 series graphics cards in the mentioned title. In addition to game optimizations, many bug fixes were also rolled out.

The Adrenalin 23.5.1 driver improves the performance of Radeon RX 7900 series GPUs in The Lord of the Rings: Gollum by up to 16%. The RX 6000 series GPUs are also up to 12% faster in game than the previous driver software.

Improved memory usage in The Last of Us. Previously, the game used much more VRAM during shader compilation when the game was first launched. Also fixed the system crashes on older Radeon SKUs when playing Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® II.
