Amidst the Internet Blackout in Iran, NASCAR Star Toni Briedinger Shares Message from Supermodel Bell Hadid

And NASCAR driver Toni Breidinger did just that!

Toni Breidinger, former Victoria’s Secret model and full-time Venturini Motorsports driver, recently shared an Instagram story. In the story, Toni shared a post supporting the anti-hijab protests in Iran. Due to the political unrest and the ensuing protests in the country, the Iranian government has blocked the internet.

And to raise awareness of their issues, Toni re-shared Celine Semaan’s post, urging women in other parts of the world to speak out. American model Bella Hadid shared the post on her Instagram handle and Toni shared it again on her page.

The anti-hijab protests in Iran follow the death of a woman who was jailed for breaking the hijab law. In addition, the protesters demonstrate their dissent by burning hijabs and demanding sovereignty over their own bodies.

In the caption, Toni shared her struggles with her body image growing up. She also thanked Victoria’s Secret for helping her feel confident in her own skin.

Ahead of her race in Bristol, Victoria’s Secret wished the #25 Toyota Camry driver the best of luck. The comment under Toni’s post read; “I wish you all the confidence and good luck tomorrow in Bristol! We’re so happy you’re a part of the #VSFamily.”
