Saturday Night Takeaway and I’m A Celeb hosts Ant and Dec have admitted that if social media existed in its early days, it may have been “canceled”.
Anthony McPartlin and his co-host Declan Donnelly, both 47, recently detailed some of their biggest TV blunders and prime-time divas they’ve worked with during their thirty years in the showbiz industry.
And despite their monumental popularity and high ratings as TV presenters, the two have admitted they “would have been canceled” if social media loomed when their careers began to blossom.

The Express reports that the comedy duo have hooked up with some big names over the years, including Christina Aguilera, Paul McCartney and Jennifer Lopez – to name a few but a celebrity encounter that would have gone very differently today, was the one with Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash.

Ant and Dec started out as teenage actors in Byker Grove in the 1990s before embarking on a pop career. After making waves in the music world, the couple decided to turn to presenting.
