Amber Heard: Comeback after appeal unlikely
Amber Heard has made a rare appearance following the publicly televised libel trial at the Fairfax County Circuit Courthouse, Virginia. On the other hand, her ex-husband Johnny Depp made a very public appearance, albeit only as a digital projection, at the 2022 MTV VMAs dressed as the network’s mascot, the Moon Man. Theatrics aside, it’s now common knowledge that Amber Heard has lost all public respect. After the agonizing trial and her constant taunting, the actress rarely stayed behind after the trial as she was reportedly spotted in Iran for a while and now in Spain with her daughter Oonagh Paige and her friend.

With her appeal, Amber Heard appears to be preparing to face her ex-husband again in court as she challenges the June 1 verdict. After the release of Elaine Bredehoft, who failed to save Heard’s case during the Depp v. Heard trial, the latter now has a new legal team on standby, namely David Axelrod and JW Brown. Failing the appeal or not isn’t doing anything to sway public opinion about Heard, and her comeback in even the best imaginable scenario seems a highly unlikely, if not downright unlikely, situation.
