At every single police mobile speed camera location across Leeds this week

Mobile speed cameras have been placed across Leeds to reduce accidents.

Set up by West Yorkshire Police on behalf of the West Yorkshire Casualty Prevention Partnership, the cameras will be placed in “known accident zones” to try to keep speeds down on dangerous roads. The device uses a laser that works in all weather conditions to determine speeds.

The vehicles themselves are not obscured and can be seen from the street. Enforcement can be expected on any of these roads seven days a week, according to the West Yorkshire Casualty Prevention Partnership.
