Ever since Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar left Bade Achhe Lagte Hai 2, fans have had mixed reactions about the path the show has taken. And just weeks after the 20-year leap that led to the end of beloved RaYa Jodi’s departure from the show, BALH2 has made yet another leap – this time of three years. Centered around the concept of one-sided love, the new and remastered Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 captured the story of Niti Taylor as Prachi (Ram and Priya’s second daughter) and Randeep Rai as Raghav. Of course, there were a few other lines of one-sided love stories, because this is a television soap opera, after all. Pihu’s (played by Pooja Banerjee) love for Raghav, Angad’s (played by Leenesh Mattoo) love for Pihu etc. However, the story reinvents itself once again and how. Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2: As Nakuul Mehta-Disha Parmar steps out and the show enters a new phase, let’s take a look at Ram and Priya’s most romantic scenes.
The 400th episode of Bade Achhe Lagte Hai 2 followed the journey of Prachi’s marriage to Josh (read villain who wanted her money) and how Raghav’s one-sided love was finally outed in front of everyone. What followed after that was a definition of roller coaster where fans feel all the emotions. To sum up, when Raghav’s love was revealed – he was thrown out of the house, imprisoned, then released from prison to be beaten by thugs and finally returned to Kapoor House only to leave again with the Promise never to come back. The catch?
Pihu and Angad also join Raghav as the only two people who still believe he wasn’t the villain. And while fans are just trying to weather all these developments, Hiten Tejwani’s Lakhan Kapoor suffers a heart attack, delaying Prachi’s wedding to Josh. The episode ends with a glimpse into the life of Prach Kapoor – 3 years after this confrontation and a very well written monologue about courting and romanticizing one-sided love (props to the author). In summary, this would be the third jump in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2. The first jump captured Priya and Ram’s journey after the sudden departure of Sneha Namanandi’s Shivina (Ram’s sister), resulting in RaYa’s breakup, while the second jump marked the 20th was -year leap after the deaths of Ram and Priya. Perhaps the positive is that this time around, the jump isn’t related to any existence from the show (at least, we hope). Bade Achhe Langer Hain 2 airs Monday through Friday at 8:00 p.m. IST on Sony TV.
