President Joe Biden drew criticism from conservatives on social media for a comment he made to a young teenager in California telling her, “No serious boys until you’re 30.”
“Well, one very important thing I said to my daughters and granddaughters — no serious boys until you’re 30!” Biden told an unidentified young woman at an event in Irvine, Calif.
“Okay,” the woman said as the President leaned closer. “I’ll remember that.”
Video of the exchange was posted to Twitter by reporter Kalen D’Almeida, who claimed members of the Secret Service tried to prevent him from filming. The video has been viewed almost 3 million times and has been rejected by social media users.

Conservatives on social media responded to the video by calling the president “creepy.”
“Creepy Joe is back,” political commentator Benny Johnson tweeted.

“Can you imagine the media reaction if Trump grabbed a young girl and whispered ‘No serious boys til you’re 30’???” Conservative commentator Ian Haworth posted. “Biden does it again…and again…and again, and the media laughs and says, ‘That’s our Joe!'”
“Why is he doing this?” The Washington Examiner’s political correspondent Byron York tweeted.
“There are far too many videos like this,” Fox News contributor Lisa Boothe tweeted.

Biden has been criticized multiple times in the past by conservatives for comments made as “creepy” towards younger people, including an interaction last month when the president described a friendship with a 12-year-old girl when he was 30.
“We go way back,” Biden said after pointing to a woman in the crowd at an event he was speaking at. “She was 12 and I was 30, but still. This woman has helped me get a lot done. However.”
