Bing: Microsoft begins rolling out new Bing early access for waitlisted users: How to access new advanced chat GPT features on Bing

Earlier this week, Microsoft surprised the world with a surprise event to announce chat GPT integration with Bing and its Chromium-based Edge web browser. The service was initially launched with limited features on the “updated Bing” and the company announced that the enhanced features will soon be available to users in the coming days.
Microsoft has also created a waiting list for users to get early access to the advanced features. The good news is that the company has started giving access to the new features to users who have signed up for the waitlist.
Apparently, the company has started sending out an email to notify waitlisted users of the access. TOI-Gadgets Now also sent an email with the subject “You’re in! Welcome to the new Bing!”.
Email from Microsoft to early adopters
The email reads: “We’re excited to give you access to an early preview of the new Bing – your AI-powered co-pilot for the web.
When you start using the product, we’d love to hear your feedback to make the new Bing even better – please use the feedback buttons to help us learn.
We don’t have a mobile experience ready yet – we’re actively working on it and will have it ready soon. Until then, please keep using the new Bing on your desktop and download the Bing app from your favorite app store to ensure you’re ready for the best experience when mobile is ready.
Thank you – we appreciate you,
The Bing team.”
The email clearly mentions that the new updated Bing is currently available on desktop. The mobile version is not “ready” yet.
When announcing the waitlist program, Microsoft didn’t confirm a specific timeline for the availability of the enhanced Bing features. It seems that initially it has already caught on with a select few users. We expect the feature to be available to more waitlisted users soon, followed by a wider rollout in the coming months.

What to do after you receive the email
If you received the above email, all you have to do is go to www.bing.com and sign in with your Outlook account that you used to sign up for the waitlist program.
Once you’ve done that, look for the “Chat” option at the top. Or just start typing your query and press Enter. Bing will automatically redirect you to the new chat screen. If it doesn’t click the chat button, it will automatically take care of the rest.
