Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has unveiled the 2023 Char Dham Yatra Tour Package. According to IRCTC, the 11-night/12-day package includes Haridwar, Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, Badrinath, Rishikesh.
IRCTC Char Dham Yatra Tour starts from Mumbai Airport and then proceeds to Delhi – Haridwar – Barkot – Jankichatti – Yamunotri – Uttrakashi – Gangotri – Guptkashi – Son Prayag – Kedarnath – Badrinath – Haridwar – Delhi – Mumbai.
Costs for the IRCTC Pilgrimage Package start at ₹67,000 per person based on triple occupancy. However, the prices of the tour package differ – for single occupancy the package would cost ₹91,400, while for double occupancy it would cost around ₹69,900.

Registration of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath is done by passengers only.
As per Uttarakhand Government travel guidelines, you must register yourself and your vehicles before embarking on your journey to Char Dham and Hemkund Sahib. It’s also important to verify yourself against the objectives as you reach each shrine. According to the government, this free exercise is a small step to help themselves and the government administration to efficiently manage yatra surveillance and security.

– Via Mobile Application – Tourist Care Uttarakhand (Android App & iOS App Download)
– Via WhatsApp setup – Mobile number: +91 8394833833 (Enter “Yatra” to initiate the registration process in WhatsApp.)
Type of Verification: Physically only at the shrine being visited, by scanning the “QR Code” on the mobile app, or by downloading the “Yatra Registration Letter”.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, had allayed any concerns about the Char Dham Yatra given the subsidence in Joshimath. Earlier, speaking to reporters, Dhami assured the public that the pilgrimage would be carried out safely. He stressed that there should be no doubt in people’s minds about Joshimath, which serves as the gateway to Badrinath.
