Although Kanye West appears to have refrained from making anti-Semitic remarks at the moment, a Twitter user posted an image of the rapper’s alleged upcoming merchandise, which is anti-Jewish. The sweatshirts feature the Nazi swastika symbol that has stunned the internet.
For those unfamiliar, Kanye West has unleashed anger against Jewish people in recent months. Some of his racist antics include him claiming to put Jews on “Death 3,” asking them to forgive Hitler, and also infamously claiming to like the Nazi leader in an InfoWars episode.
Meanwhile, Twitter user @FarAwayAndCozy, operating under the nickname ThePharmaCopYe-ist, uploaded an image believed to be that of Kanye West’s upcoming December 20 merch. The tweet’s caption read “Iconic.”
Pictured are a man and woman wearing black sweatshirts said to be from Yes’ upcoming collection. The back of the sweatshirts appears to look like the Swatsika symbol surrounded by stars. A woman can be seen seated on a huge cube-shaped structure wearing the leotard with similar motifs.
Not only does the design look familiar to the Nazi symbol, it appears to spell “Ye,” which is the rapper’s legal first name.
At the time of writing, the tweet featuring Kanye West’s merchandise had garnered 647 likes and over 17,000 views.
Netizens are reacting to Kanye West’s alleged sweatshirt design
Netizens were stunned after seeing the collection. Many couldn’t believe that the rapper would think of selling anti-Jewish clothing. Many took to Twitter to express their disappointment. A few tweets read:
It’s important to note that West hasn’t confirmed that he’s releasing the aforementioned sweatshirts.
It also appears that the image uploaded by ThePharmaCopYe-ist is fake. Twitter user @vitin1000cc uploaded another photo in which the models, who are said to be wearing Ye’s sweatshirts, posed in exactly the same way. However, the models were spotted wearing different sweatshirts, confirming that the West merchandise is fake and the image that included his sweatshirts was photoshopped.
Kanye West’s Presidential Campaign Merchandise Sells on eBay
As the Yeezy designer continues to trend online, listings of the rapper’s t-shirts, hoodies, phone cases and flip-flops related to his 2024 presidential bid have appeared on Amazon and eBay.
Images of the merchandise showed “YE24” printed on a blue phone case, a black hoodie with his face on it along with the phrase “YE24,” and a black T-shirt with “YE24” printed on it along with stars in red and blue on the bottom and printed on the top of the set. The rapper can also be seen holding a cross on another shirt.
Prices for Kanye West’s merchandise range from $20 to $30 for hats, hoodies that cost up to $50, and other items.
It’s important to note that it remains unclear whether it will be sold by the rapper himself or by a third party. Considering the fact that the donda Singer would have promoted his merch social media platforms if they were designed by him, it’s likely the items weren’t designed by West.
