If you’re one of those phone users who didn’t really care about apps stealing your personal information, now is the best time to take care of it. This is because your hard-earned money may be at risk. Many commonly used apps have been found to steal not only personal information but also money from users. These dangerous apps can be found on both Android and iOS devices.
203+ dangerous Android and iOS apps that steal from bank accounts
This time both iOS and Android users risk losing their money to these dangerous or malicious apps. A report by Laptop Mag suggests that there are 203 dangerous Android and iOS apps stealing from users’ phones. These apps were first spotted by Thailand’s Department of Digital Economy and Society (DES) and the UK’s National Cyber Security Center (NCSC).
DES decided to warn the general public about these dangerous Android and iOS apps on its official Facebook page. The social media post listed three dangerous atrocities committed by these apps. Steal personal information, drain users’ bank accounts, and remotely take control of infected smartphones to commit identity theft. 
Both DES and NCSC have not specified the types of malware these apps proliferate. Just that these are dangerous apps and they are working with Google and Apple to make sure they remove these apps from their stores.
