DHL, the global leader in international express shipping services, recently expanded its vast network of US retail locations with a new DHL Express mobile pop-up store in Tampa, Florida. The 100 percent off-grid, mobile DHL ServicePoint with a size of 2,200 cubic feet offers customers a secure and user-friendly shipping option.
As the Tampa Bay area continues to experience rapid population and business growth, the pop-up will accommodate increased B2C and B2B shipping demands. The new unit at 6431 E County Line Road is the first pop-up store in the Tampa area and marks the latest investment DHL has made in the Tampa area.
Earlier this year, DHL opened a $4 million facility in St. Petersburg to increase shipping capacity and enable faster shipment processing, resulting in earlier deliveries and later cut-off times for local customers.

DHL Express Continues Pop-Up Rollout Across Florida
The new ServicePoint will be 100% solar powered, helping to reduce energy consumption and contributing to the company’s mission to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.
The efficient point-of-sale system is able to process shipments to the United States as well as to any of the 220 countries and territories that DHL serves. Consumables such as bubble wrap, packing tape and boxes with DHL logo are available at the mobile unit.
To create this mobile DHL ServicePoint location, DHL worked closely with Flexetail, a leading designer and manufacturer of mobile shops, offering brands an affordable way to test products, explore new markets and launch new product lines.
In addition to these new company-owned stores, over 3,500 independent DHL ServicePoint partner stores continue to play a critical role in the company’s retail strategy in the US market. All locations offer international express shipping services from DHL Express (among other brands), global knowledge and expert advice to help businesses reach the international market.
