DU approvals 2022: Delhi University (DU) today extended the deadline for the first round of the Central Seat Allocation System (CSAS). According to the new schedule, candidates now have until 11:59 p.m. on October 22 to accept their assigned seat. Candidates can do this by visiting the official DU website — you.ac.in.
After candidates accept their assigned course and college choices, colleges have until 2:00 p.m. on October 23 to review and approve selected candidates’ online applications. The deadline for paying registration fees online has also been extended to 5:00 p.m. on October 24.
Documents required for admission to uni are grades 10 and 12 grades (self certified), transfer certificate from school (if any), government issued photo ID such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, driver’s license or passport, a few passport photos (possibly self-certified), class certificate for students of all classes (this year a subsequent application and certificate is not possible, this must then be submitted to the registration) and also ECA or sports certificates if the candidate applies via ECA/sport categories.
Meanwhile, DU officials have announced that out of 80,000 places, almost 50,000 students have accepted the places allocated to them in the first round of allocation at Delhi University. Applicants were previously given until October 21 to accept, but have now been given an extra day.
