Fans on social media have reacted to Virgil van Dijk being replaced by Jurgen Klopp at half-time.
Liverpool struggled against a dominant Brentford and were 2-0 down at half-time – before eventually losing 3-1.
Fans on social media have said that Germany coach was right to dismiss Van Dijk after a “poor” performance in the first 45. However, it has since been confirmed that the 31-year-old was withdrawn due to a hamstring injury rather than performance-related reasons.
