Free apps for Android & iOS: Get these 23 paid versions for free!

It’s a thankless task at NextPit to hunt for free app deals on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store every week. Of course, these apps are usually paid apps, but for one reason or another, they were temporarily made available for free. After all, who doesn’t like free stuff?

This list of free apps is updated twice every week. Of course, the usual caveat applies: these apps are available for free at the time of publication, but by the time you’re reading this article or actually looking at the apps listed, they may have reverted to paid status. While Google Play Store promotions for apps are relatively easy to find, things get more complicated when it comes to Apple App Store promotions, as Apple never discloses how long the discount lasts.

Here’s a quick tip: Whenever you spot an interesting app or game in our list, but don’t have a use for it yet (or somehow you’re pretty short on space on your smartphone), you can simply install the app. After that, you can delete the newly installed app from your device as it would have already become part of your app library. This allows you to install it as needed in the future. This is a reliable method to take full advantage of a short-lived promotion.
