Speakers will address topics ranging from automating data processing and accelerating instrument workflows to managing data in a hybrid/cloud/multi-cloud environment.
“Effective data management plays an increasingly important role in research and science,” said Ian Foster, co-founder of Globus B. The NIH’s policy on data sharing requires more comprehensive data management plans. From day one, our mission at Globus has been to simplify mundane but necessary IT tasks so investigators can spend more time on their research. We do this by helping organizations build cyber infrastructure that provides advanced data and compute management capabilities to all scientists.”
Globus product experts will lead introductory and advanced Globus tutorials, and – for those attending the conference in person – there will be deep-dive sessions on a range of topics including automating research with Globus flows and building of portals for the publication and distribution of data.
GlobusWorld 2023 is powered by AWS, Starfish, Spectra Logic, iRODS and Omnibond CloudyCluster.
