Harry Kane’s wife Kate broke her silence on social media on Sunday after England lost to France in the semi-finals of the World Cup.
The mother of two, who has joined the other WAGs in Qatar, shared a photo of her husband with the words “always proud”.

“It’s a really tough night,” Kane said after the loss.
“I’m disappointed, the team is disappointed. We firmly believed that we could achieve something special at this World Cup, but it was the small details that mattered.
“I thought that night we had better odds and better spells in play. It all comes down to execution. As the captain, I take it by the chin and take responsibility for missing the penalty.
“It’s hard to say for sure but I can be proud of the group, proud of each other for what we’ve done. It’s going to hurt for a while, but we’ll dust ourselves off to prepare for it in the future.
