Here is the easiest way to batch edit photos in iOS 16.
The iOS 16 upgrade brought many new features, including the ability to batch edit photos. This allows users to edit a photo from their photos and then replicate that edit to a batch of other images, so you don’t have to manually select and edit each one.
This feature is exclusive to iOS 16, so anyone running on iOS 15 or earlier will not have access to this feature, as well as anyone who cannot update to iOS 16, which includes iPhones pre-iPhone SE (2nd gen ) were published.

- An iPhone SE (2nd generation) or later with iOS 16
The short version
- Open the camera app
- Open the album you want to work in
- Select the photo you want to edit
- Click Edit
- Edit the photo
- Click Done
- Press hamburger menu
- Click Copy Changes
- Press Select
- Press Select All
- Tap on the hamburger menu
- Click Paste Edits
- Look at your pictures

1Open the camera app
Unlock your device and open the camera app to start the process.

2Open the album you want to work with
You can use this function in any album. If you have a specific batch of photos you want to edit, we recommend putting them in a separate album to simplify the process.

3Select the photo you want to edit
Select the first photo you want to edit.

4Click Edit
Click the Edit button, it’s blue and it’s in the right corner at the top of the screen.

5Edit the photo
Edit the photo as much as you want.

When you are happy with your changes, click the Done button at the bottom of the screen.

7When you’re done pressing click on the hamburger menu. It looks like three small white dots in a line inside a circle.

From the drop-down menu that appears, click the Copy Edits button.

Go back to the album you are working on and press the select key.

Click the Select All button. This is different when working from the Recent album, as you have to manually select each photo you want to batch edit.

11When you’ve selected all the photos you want to edit, click the hamburger menu in the lower-right corner of the screen.

From the drop-down menu, click the Insert Edits button.

Check the photos to make sure they were all edited in batch.
