Here’s how you can view your friends’ location on Snapchat
Step 1: Launch the Snapchat app on your smartphone and swipe left twice to access the Snap card. You can even tap the location pin icon in the lower-left corner of the screen for one-touch access to the Snap Map.
Step 2: Now tap on the “Friends” icon at the bottom right corner of the screen to view your friends’ location on the map.
Step 3: Tap on the search icon to find a friend’s location.
Step 4: Tap on friend’s Bitmoji to see their exact location.
How does Snap Map work?
Aside from being able to see your friends’ locations, you can use Snap Map to view Snapchat stories from around the world. All you have to do is browse the map and tap on a specific location to see all the stories Snapchat users have uploaded from there. This is a bit similar to the Periscope app, which allows you to view live streams from anywhere around the world. If you’re interested in following a public event happening miles away from you, you can just go to its location on the Snap Map and see what other people have uploaded.
Your location on the Snap Map is only visible to your friends. You can also switch to ghost mode to hide your location from everyone on the app. You can also create a list of special friends to share your location with. To change your location settings, go to your Snapchat profile and select Settings > View My Location.
