It can be difficult to remember all of these different language patterns if you switch between them frequently. In addition, you may miss certain important calls. Google Voice comes in handy here. Essentially, Google Voice is a cloud-based phone service that lets you use your mobile device instead of a landline. This expands your conversational opportunities. In 2009, VoIP technology was introduced, allowing calls to be sent on multiple channels.
Unlike other mobile services, it only works with the internet. Most of the time, to use the Google Voice service, you need a strong internet connection, a microphone, and a speaker. No matter where you are or what device you’re using (computer, iPad, or phone), you won’t miss calls with Google Voice (as long as you have an internet connection).
Set up Google Voice on iPhone If you don’t already have the Google Voice app, download it from the App Store. Once Google recognizes you’re signed in, launch the app and select Continue as. To accept the terms, tap “Accept”. To search a Google Voice number by city or area code, tap Search. Choose your number from the available list. If you’re sure you want to use your current phone number, tap Next. After entering your phone number, click Send Code. Enter the received text code. Your account will be released for use according to a notice. After that, Google will notify you that your account has been added. If you can access your contacts, Google will ask you. Tap OK. Google requires authorization before sending notifications. Click the OK button. Google notifies users that all calls made using Google Voice are recorded and available in the app. Install Google Voice for Android. You can download the Google Voice app to your phone from the Google Play Store if you don’t already have it. You may be asked to select a Google account or sign in to the app. Tap Search to select a Google Voice phone number. When you call your contacts, select the number you want them to see. You can search by city or area code. Select the number you want, then touch Next to confirm your choice. Tap Accept Number if everything seems ok. You must provide a number. Add your mobile phone number to your Google account if you haven’t already done so, then click Send code. Google Voice will request contact information. This warning asks for your consent to continue. Click the OK button. There will be a list of people you know. You can now use your new Google Voice phone number. How to set up Google Voice on a computer To set up Google Voice on a PC, follow these steps: Visit the Google Voice website. To access it, sign in with your Google account. Click Continue after agreeing to the onscreen Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Search for available phone numbers by city or area code. If you’re having trouble finding a decent number, try selecting a nearby city or area code. Any number will do. To verify your phone number, follow the instructions in the onscreen dialog box.
