You probably put a lot of energy into your iPhone, iPad, or Macintosh to run one more errand in a variety of applications. Think how long it would save you if you could mechanize these ventures or join them in a single activity. You can do all that and more with Apple’s Easy Routes application.

The Easy Routes application offers a large set of predefined activities and allows access to countless existing alternative routes as well as the ability to create and run your own. They work on iOS 12 or later, but you should be running iOS 13 and later or iPadOS 13.1 and later to take advantage of the application’s usefulness. On your Macintosh you need macOS Monterey 12.0 or higher. Many simple routes can also be run on an Apple Watch running watchOS 7 or later.
Walk an easy route
The easiest way to start a simple route is to open Alternative Routes on your gadget and tap an alternative route on the main screen. Or, on the other hand, ask Siri to show you to say, “Hi Siri, [name of shortcut].” As long as you use a similar Macintosh account for all your devices, you can sync the easy routes you create so they’re accessible across your iPhone, iPad, and Macintosh.
For example, try a Starter Easy route, enjoy time out to turn on Don’t Upset, and set an alert for a specified number of minutes. The simple Text Last Picture route lets you text someone the last photo or screenshot you took with your gadget, the Shazam alternative method detects a tune you’re playing, and the Music Test alternative method suggests five conversation starters so you can get an idea of what tune is playing from your music library.
Alternative route exhibition
Various alternative routes can be traced in the exhibition. Tap Exhibition in the application to find different segments with alternative routes to try. At the top are the classes Just for Entertainment and Games with Siri, Starter Alternative Routes, Alternative Ways for Availability, Extraordinary with Siri, Magnificent Gadget Easy Routes, Alternative Routes for Apple Music ‘ and ‘Alternative Ways for Sharing’.
On the exhibition side there are additional classes of alternative routes, e.g. B. Alternative routes from your applications, which recommend alternative routes for the applications you regularly use. The Finish Stuff and Get Coordinated segments offer efficiency-based easy routes.
The Stay Solid area offers alternative itineraries on the theme of well-being. Check out the On the Interweb segment for easy routes to help you complete tasks on the web.
Tap on a classification and then select an extra easy route. Tap Add Easy Route to add the alternate route to your library under All Easy Routes. Choose a simple route to run from here, or ask Siri to run it.
Take an easy route
Instead of choosing a previous easy route, you can create your own. Select “All Easy Routes” and “Troubled Things in Town” (+) icon to find another alternative path. You can create simple routes to add an occasion to your schedule, email a contact, search for a location, play music, select specific photos or recordings, and more.
Better yet, you can consolidate some of these errands into a single easy itinerary. The application shows suggested activities related to common errands and based on your experiences. To view additional activities, tap a specific classification or select All activities. For this model, we should create a simple route to take another photo and then email it to someone.
Select the media class, then select Take Photo. The activity is displayed as the most important phase in your alternative route. Assuming you’re doing this on an iPhone or iPad, you can select the camera variable and choose whether you want to use the front or back camera, or have the activity requirement of which camera you use each time.
Return to the course overview on the right, select Share, and then select Send email. To email an additional photo to a specific person each time, select the Beneficiary variable and enter the person’s name or email address. To create a specific subject, select the subject variable and enter your text. When you’re done, tap Done.
To change the name of an easy route, tap the three-dot icon in the top-right corner (on a Macintosh, right-click the alternate method and select Rename). Select the Name field to transform it. From here you can also change any of the activities or other components of a simple route. When you’re done, select Done.
Similar to a previous simple route, you can run your custom errand by selecting it from the library or by saying “Hi Siri, [name of your shortcut].”
