MUMBAI: Be it videos of her munching on “Vada Pavs”, chilling with her dad, actress Shakti Kapoor or just sharing morning selfies, actress Shraddha Kapoor is really big on social media where she says, that she can share her regular parts of her life with her fans and be in her “real zone”.

The 36-year-old actress currently has a following of a whopping 79 million on Instagram and 14.4 million followers on Twitter.

When asked how important social media validation is to her, Shraddha told IANS: “I don’t see it as social media validation, but I see it as a way to stay in touch with my fans and people, who loved and supported me because they did it really showered me with a lot of love.”

“I feel like I love sharing my normal parts of my life with them. When they say ‘Main bhi chashmish hun’, ‘Mujhe vada pav pasand hai’…I feel like I can share my true zone…”

“It was because of Covid. The theaters were closed and at that time ‘Baaghi 3’ was playing in the cinema halls and then they were closed. After that I was supposed to start filming ‘Tu Jhoothi ​​Main Makkaar’ immediately and then of course there was a lockdown and that too was delayed.”

“Well, it wasn’t like I was going to take such a long break, it just happened.”

Shraddha trained as a singer since she was a child as her maternal grandfather and mother are classical singers.

Music plays an important role in her life.

Speaking of the type of music she likes, the actress said, “I like all kinds of music. I listen to old songs, coldplay, I listen to pop, techno and I also listen to healing frequencies.”

“I feel like I need to listen to music every day. It makes me very inspired and relaxed. There is something magical about music. I even like jazz.”

Looking to the future, Shraddha has the second part of the 2018 horror comedy ‘Stree’.

“The plan is to start with that because it’s very soon. I have my fingers and toes crossed because people were really entertained with ‘Stree’ and hopefully ‘Stree 2’.”
