Redditors criticize Whitney Way Thore’s outfits online
My big fat fabulous life is exactly what it claims to be. It’s a show about Whitney Way Thore’s journey as a great woman. Viewers love Whitney for a variety of reasons. She is outspoken, is exactly who she wants to be and is never ashamed of her identity.
However, some fans don’t necessarily agree with her outfits.
“Why isn’t she wearing proper clothes?!?” the original Redditor wrote online. “That’s it. That’s all I want to know. Leggings and a sports bra aren’t appropriate for every single place she goes! Just put on a shirt at the nursing home!”
Some other users thought the OP might be fat shaming here, but others agreed. Even a few taller people wrote back, saying they didn’t think their clothing choices were always appropriate.
“As a big girl myself, I wear leggings ALL THE FUCKING TIME and believe with all my heart that they are the biggest fashion trend of my life,” another wrote back. “But I kind of manage to wear a shirt every day… and it covers my butt. And they are thick enough not to be see-through. The one she wore to the wedding… whoops!”
This wouldn’t be the first time fans have had their say on Whitney’s choices. Recently others thought she was inappropriate with her male friends.

Fans may not think well of Whitney’s wardrobe, but they always appreciate the updates she shares about her mom. She recently shared a cute video online of her new nighttime routine with Babs.
“I don’t think I ever imagined how much I would cherish those little moments with my mom — especially at bedtime, which is my favourite,” the TLC star captioned her Instagram video. “Usually dad will watch TV and we’ll lie in bed and cackle about things (memories, videos of ferrets, etc.) until she falls asleep.
