Introductory Lecture on the ‘Administrative Measures for Internet Religious Information Services’ Launched

To further improve the level of religious information service and management, CCC&TSPM held a special lecture entitled “The Guide to the ‘Administrative Measures for Internet Religious Information Services”.

According to CCC&TSPM, Zhao Xin, deputy director of the propaganda department of the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, was invited to make a statement on Nov. 11.

Zhao Xin explained the characteristics of the measures that came into force on March 1, the meaning of their introduction, the regulations and content of approval and licensing, and the administrative regulations for information content and activities. She said that in the current era, the integration of online and onsite is a common mode, and the introduction of the “measures” sets the standard for information release on various platforms. It could help the religious community to clarify the development direction of online propaganda, improve information management, and enhance believers’ ability to identify false information.
