iOS 16.2 could be released on December 12th! Find out what changes it will bring to the iPhone

Apple may roll out the iOS 16.2 update on December 12, 2022. It is expected to bring major changes to your iPhone. Check the details here.

Apple has already released the iOS 16.1 update to the iPhone users while iOS 16.2 has been in testing since October. According to a MacRumors report, Apple could launch the candidate version of iOS 16.2 on December 6th. The launch of iOS 16.2 is expected for December 12th.

“We typically see five or more betas ahead of a release candidate, but schedules get tight during the holiday season. Last year Apple only released four betas of iOS 15.2 before the RC and subsequent launch, so we could see something similar this year. If that’s the plan, Apple could give us the release candidate version of iOS 16.2 next week, probably Tuesday, December 6th. With that in mind, we could see an iOS 16.2 launch in the week of December 12,” the report said.

The report further added that the week of December 19 is also a possibility when Apple releases more beta versions. “Last year’s iOS 15.2 launch happened on Monday, December 13, after Apple deployed the fourth beta on December 2 and the RC on December 7,” it added. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has also said that the launch of iOS 16.2 will be in mid-December.

With the arrival of iOS 16.2, Apple is expected to bring several changes to the iPhone. Here are some of the most important updates you need to know.
