iOS 16 added a detailed viewing recommendations section to the Health app. So says Mark Gurman of Bloomberg.
A very detailed eyesight section has been added to the Health app on iPhone models that support iOS 16, including the recently launched iPhone 14 series. Find out about the same thing, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman tweeted, “I missed that iOS 16 adds a highly detailed prescription area to the Health app. I’m wondering if this is related to the Reality Pro headset and the planned option for custom lenses.” He also shared screenshots showing prescription insights.
One of the screenshots about the vision inscription informed what it is and other details. “A prescription is a record of your eyes’ ability to see and their measurements. This is often based on an eye exam by an optometrist. The data recorded in the prescription can provide a lens manufacturer with the information they need to create corrections for eyewear such as glasses or contact lenses . A Vision Recipe can be manually added to Health,” it said.
It is known that iOS 16 was launched on September 12th and brings several new changes to iPhone, including the Health app. According to Apple, the Health app adds medications that allow users to conveniently create and manage a medication list, set schedules and reminders, and track their medications, vitamins, or supplements.
“In the US, users can simply point their iPhone camera at a label to add a drug, learn about the drugs they’re taking, and receive an alert if there are potentially critical drug interactions.” Users can also now send loved ones an invitation to share their health data and easily create a PDF of available health records from affiliated health facilities directly from the Health app. Health records on iPhone are available at participating facilities in the US, UK and Canada,” Apple said.
You can personalize the Health app by adding your name, date of birth, gender and other basic health details information. To better manage your health using the Health app, review the health checklist regularly. Here’s how:
