Ivy+ IT Academy to deliver comprehensive, market-relevant certification training programs for the most in-demand IT professions
INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA, UNITED STATES, Oct. 26, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Ivy Tech Community College announced today that the Ivy+ IT Academy will launch in early 2023, offering students the most progressive and innovative opportunity, in-demand IT education to get and skills fast. Indiana employers now have a “One Stop Shop” for employees who need training, with the widest variety of information technology and tools available anywhere.
The IT Academy will start classes in early 2023. Students can take courses from any Ivy Tech campus or location, or online, as needed. Some of the initial certifications available through the program include IT support, cyber security, mobile application development and certifications from some of the world’s most respected and sought-after technology providers such as Google, Salesforce, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services and Cisco.
Students new to the IT industry can acquire a range of skills quickly and inexpensively, and if they wish to further their education they can enroll in academic programs offered by the Ivy Tech School of IT to gain a to get a degree. Ivy+ Career Link services will also be available nationwide to attract students to the high-demand careers in IT and ensure all students are career-ready and matched to an employer upon completion of a certification offered by the academy.

The Ivy+ IT Academy will have a presence in every service area and campus in the state as it expands. Additionally, certain campuses will serve as “centres of excellence” in specific subjects, offering intensive “boot camps” and summer programs designed to serve the rest of the state.
Students can take the courses offered by IT Academy full-time or part-time, and IT Academy offers flexible course options designed to meet the training needs of employers and students. The program will be the most affordable provider of IT training and boot camps in Indiana. Prices vary greatly depending on the topic and length of the program. For example, some programs only last two days, others four weeks.
