The 95th Academy Awards was everything we could have hoped for – desi representation and wins – check, blockbuster performances – check, red carpet hits – absolutely and luckily no slapgate situation, thanks to the Academy’s “crisis team”. this year. In the midst of all this, Twitter users (surprisingly) found another reason to celebrate a little moment at the Oscars this year — Jessica Chastain, who won the Best Actress Oscar for last year’s The Eyes of Tammy Faye, was stunned during the ceremony with a Face mask pictured. While the actress wore a mask for most of the awards ceremony, she did make red carpet appearances and come out onstage without a mask. Part of the internet praised the actress for wearing a mask during the show. See some of the tweets here:

“Ok I was excited that Jessica Chastain was wearing a mask but then she took it off as she was presenting so it was really all just a useless show as I doubt the ventilation there was that spectacular. The 95th Academy Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, took place at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. All at once won all the major awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Supporting Actress. Bonus – awards night also included a blockbuster performance of Naatu Naatu by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaalabhairava. Rihanna and Lady Gaga also dominated the stage.
