Johnny Depp’s lawyer drops Kanye West over anti-Semitism

Johnny Depp’s lawyer – who helped him win his libel case against Amber Heard – has reportedly stopped working with Kanye West over his anti-Semitic remarks.

Camille Vasquez told her company Brown Rudnick that she was unwilling to represent the billionaire rapper less than a week after he was hired, TMZ reported Monday.

Sources told the outlet that despite the respected attorney’s stance, their firm is still open to working with West, 45, if he retracts his statements.

However, the Yeezy CEO refused to back down, saying in an impromptu press conference ahead of his daughter North’s basketball game Friday night, “I want to talk about the Jewish comment, it actually proved that’s exactly what I said.”

“We all have to come together. We have to find out the truth before we can get the love, if not we only love the lies.”

Just days earlier, on Piers Morgan Uncensored, West semi-apologized and said he was “sorry for the people I hurt with the Defcon.” [comment] – the confusion I caused. I feel like I caused pain and confusion.”

Brown Rudnick was reportedly fired after he told the “Power” rapper that he apologize.

A representative for Vasquez and the company did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

According to TMZ, the Los Angeles-based attorney was supposed to represent West in his business affairs and handle contracts and other dealings.
