HyperionDev, one of the largest global providers of online coding boot camps, is now working with three major educational institutions in England: the Department for Education (DfE), the University of Manchester and the University of Nottingham Online to bridge growing technical skills Employment Gap in England.
Through its partnership with HyperionDev, the DfE offers over 1,400 prospective learners the opportunity to enroll in a government-funded online coding boot camp. With half the places already taken, the application deadline for the remaining 700+ is 25 November 2022. Applicants should be over 19, live in England, have the right to work in the UK and from December 2022 for a degree will be available March 2023.
These programming boot camps in Data Science, Software Engineering and Full Stack Web Developmentwhich can be completed in as little as 16 weeks, will give learners a non-degree certificate from HyperionDev – with limited certifications issued in partnership with The University of Manchester and the University of Nottingham Online.

According to Tech Nation’s 2022 People and Skills report Tech salaries in the UK are on average almost 80% higher than non-tech salaries. This reality has increased the demand for boot camps like those designed and provided by HyperionDev, which has significantly expanded its activities to keep up with the demand for its services.
HyperionDev’s coding bootcamp courses are designed for individuals who want to boost their career, explore other career paths, or keep up to date with the latest job market demands. You can be in general completed within three to six months and are designed to help learners full-fledged developers, whether they have a technical background or not. University of Nottingham Online is an initiative of the University of Nottingham focused on reaching a new group of online learners, running alongside their existing face-to-face courses. In Spring 2022, HyperionDev partnered with the University of Edinburgh – another Russell Group university – to offer three flagship online coding bootcamps. From November 2022, Almost 3,000 students have already completed a trial boot camp, and many of the candidates are on their way to completing one of the three courses. The company, which was first established in 2012, is set to announce future agreements with additional Russell Group universities in the UK and other international groups.
