LG has introduced a couple of new soundbars – the SC9 and SE6 models. The hasn’t revealed many details about its latest audio products, but says both models will be on display at CES 2023 next week. The mega tech event will take place in Las Vegas from January 5th to 8th, 2023.
New LG soundbars connect wirelessly to its TVs
LG’s 2023 soundbar range offers seamless integration with the company’s televisions. With the WOWCAST function, you can wirelessly connect the audio products to a compatible LG TV. The Korean company also plans to update the Home Dashboard interface, from which you can manage the soundbar’s settings and share sound modes with the TV.
The LG soundbars SC9 and SE6 will also come with a new feature called WOW Orchestra. The feature will be added via a software update, which the company touts as improving the sound experience of your home entertainment system. According to the Korean company’s press release, this feature “uses each of the audio channels of the two products to create an expanded soundstage with enhanced height, depth and power.”
In addition, these products feature the world’s first triple up firing speaker. Complete with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X-powered IMAX enhanced audio quality, you get an immersive multi-surround sound experience. LG says its Triple Level Spatial Sound technology on the SC9 and SE6 soundbars will offer “incredibly lifelike sound” that will put you at the center of the audio environment.
These soundbars also feature Triple Sound Optimizer and Smart Up Mixer that converts two-channel audio into multi-channel surround sound. LG’s AI Room Calibration optimizes sound precision based on your room’s conditions, while AI Sound Pro automatically applies the appropriate sound settings based on the content you’re watching.
All of this comes in a sophisticated design that connects the audio products with your home accessories. LG says the SE6 has a “compact form factor” that’s ideal for smaller spaces. The SC9 is now compatible with a new mount that holds the soundbar under the TV. You can wall mount it or mount it on a stand at a height that gives you the best sound experience.
