DNA VR has announced it will open a new venue in Manchester in March 2023. DNA VR offers visitors a unique entertainment experience and allows visitors to immerse themselves in unimaginable virtual worlds spanning horror, fantasy and music.
From surviving a zombie apocalypse to traveling to the pyramids of Egypt to battling dragons, DNA VR offers a gaming experience everyone will enjoy. DNA VR will have the capacity to host up to 16 virtual sessions (19 people) simultaneously to offer players an unprecedented immersive experience. With true escapism, visitors can experience both solo and group virtual reality modes across 70 games that offer hours of gameplay in an unparalleled entertainment experience.
DNA VR is a social and active experience that first opened in July 2017 in a small basement in Camden as London’s first and largest virtual reality arcade. The business quickly grew through word of mouth from a very engaged audience. However, as the company has evolved, one thing has remained the same – the focus on customer experience and the social aspect. In 2019 and 2020 DNA VR received two Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards and in 2020 DNA VR expanded and opened two new venues in Hammersmith and Battersea Power Station.
Following the reopening of the leisure sector nationwide in 2021, DNA VR expanded its network and oversaw successful partnerships with companies such as Vertigo Games, KOBOX and Thursday and won the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award in 2022. The company has now begun its expansion outside of London, with its Manchester venue set to open in 2023.
Games at the new Manchester venue solve an escape room, explore the depths of the deep blue ocean or even save the earth from an intergalactic catastrophe. Up to 15 people can connect to the VR pods and explore new worlds including Skyfront VR, Ragnarok, Elven Assassin and Arizona Sunshine. While the Free Roam arcade offers longer escape rooms, exploration experiences and horror game modes for up to four players, such as Hospital Of Horror, Space Station Tiberia and Depths Of Osiris.
Whether you crave horror or want to test zombie survival skills, DNA VR is the ultimate day out in town or at a party venue, with tons of virtual experiences and escape rooms to choose from. Perfect for family day trips, evenings out with friends; Corporate parties and even date nights, the venues have been enjoyed by a host of famous faces including Olivia and Alex Bowen, Idris Elba, KSI and Hollywood royalty Chris Hemsworth (and his kids).
For those who need a little Dutch courage before taking on a horde of zombies, DNA VR Manchester will come fully equipped with a minibar serving a range of beverages in the beautifully decorated and futuristic foyer. The venue is conveniently located in Manchester city center just a 15 minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly train station.
