Karthik went on to say that the Action Mode and Cinematic Mode in 4K are real game changers for mobile filmmakers, “and pretty much anyone who wants better videos of family and friends at Diwali”.

According to Basra, “When shooting scenes from a distance, I usually turn on Portrait mode because of its ability to capture the smallest details.”

“I go back and forth between 1x, 2x and 3x zoom to find the perfect image that has the detail and sharpness I want. Sometimes excessive zooming degrades the quality of the photo. So it’s important to get that perfect harvest,” he explained.

The ultra-wide camera has a new sensor that’s almost twice the size of the iPhone 13 Pro and now has 100 percent focus pixels. This further improves image quality and focus in lower light scenarios. Together with the Photonic Engine, it delivers up to 3x better low-light photos.

Cinematic mode now supports 4K resolution up to 30 fps, including 24 fps – a good choice for film-like shots.
