Moment College teacher wrestles with student on campus in scenes that led to student’s eviction

The incident happened in January at London South East Colleges’ Bromley campus. The student has since been expelled and an internal investigation conducted

Video footage has surfaced of a now-disfellowshipped pupil wrestling with a teacher at a south-east London college as onlookers look on – before the teenager says to him: “I’m underage, are you stupid?”

Footage shows the teenager exiting a classroom at Academy Trust London South East College’s Bromley campus before a riot broke out in the corridor.

The student appears to become aggressive towards the teacher before grabbing him around the neck and trying to swing him around and onto the floor.

The teacher grabs the student back and manages to stay on his feet before overpowering the teenager and pinning him to the ground in one motion.

Those in the background of the video, who were assumed to be other students, exclaimed in shock as the teacher pinned him to the ground.

The teacher, who was wearing a green sweater, was first grabbed by the student’s neck. The teenager involved in the incident has since been expelled from school, a college spokesman told MailOnline

Then they could be heard screaming, “Oi, get him”.

The teacher lies on top of the student, apparently trying to prevent further violence.

As the teacher relieves the teenager, the student tries to move away and aims a punch at the man’s head.

He is then pinned to the ground a second time while the teacher stands up and pinches his legs to prevent him from moving.

The teenager then says to the teacher, “I’m underage, are you stupid?”

The staff member backs away from the boy, who stands up as voices can be heard on the video saying, “Leave him. leave him Don’t get fired for that.’

The student gets up and the pair appear to shove each other a few more times before a man who appears to be a second staff member who has been in the background of the fight throughout the video intervenes.

The video appears to have been captured on Snapchat and was posted with the caption “Bromley College” and “Teacher 1 Student 0”.

The student involved in the incident has since been disfellowshipped, a spokesman for London South East Colleges said.

The teacher managed to overpower the student and knocked him to the ground. The video has been viewed more than 300,000 times after it was posted to Twitter on Wednesday
