Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Expansion Title Update 6 Coming June 8th for Switch and PC; Title Updates 4, 5 and 6 will be available on August 24th for PS5, Xbox Series, PS4 and Xbox One

Capcom announced that Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Expansion Title Update 6 will be coming to Switch and PC via Steam on June 8th. Title Updates 4, 5 and 6 will be released simultaneously on August 24th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via the Microsoft Store.

During today’s Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Developer Roundtable, Monster Hunter Series Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and Sunbreak Director Yoshitake Suzuki gave a closer look at the free bonus update coming to Monster Hunter Rise on June 8th, 2023: Sunbreak is out, and was joined by Monster Hunter Rise director Yasunori Ichinose, taking a loving look back at the past two years of Rise’s development. The free bonus update includes the final monster of the massive expansion, Primordial Malzeno, a number of armor upgrade and decoration changes, and challenging new event quests that will be released until July 27th. It was also announced that all content from Title Updates 4, 5 and the free bonus update will be released as a single pack on August 24th, 2023 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.

The story of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak was originally intended to end with the decisive clash of Kamura’s forces against Amatsu in Free Title Update 5. However, the free bonus update ends the centuries-old relationship between the Elder Dragon Malzeno and the kingdom. At Master Rank 10, Primordial Malzeno introduces new wild attacks and moves for hunters, and offers victorious hunters parts for a unique new armor set and new weapons. After the release of the free bonus update on June 8th, event quests with greater challenges and even more exciting rewards will continue to be released until July 27th. While no new paid DLC will be released with the free bonus update, the existing DLC ​​will bundle new theme sets at affordable prices. The rest of the last Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Digital event opened with a developer roundtable discussing almost two years of Monster Hunter Rise and the Sunbreak expansion.
