MSC Cruises has revealed details of the entertainment options aboard the line’s new World Europa.
There are three new concert-style shows in a multi-purpose arena in Luna Park, five new immersive theatrical productions in the ship’s World Theatre, four themed experiences in the Panorama Lounge, and surprising pop-up live exhibitions throughout the ship, the company said.

From moments of surprise that take place throughout the cruise to spectacular shows and state-of-the-art venues, our guests will be overwhelmed by the wealth of fantastic entertainment onboard when they find themselves at the heart of the productions, immersing themselves in incredible performances and activities. “
The new Luna Park Arena is a 300-seat multifunctional entertainment venue that will host movies, game shows, children’s activities and various themed parties. During the day, the venue offers a variety of activities for all ages, including a new virtual reality drone academy, a digital dance academy with three bespoke Dance with Flavia classes featuring Strictly Come Dancing champion Flavia Cacace-Mistry, Doremis ” Wake Up Rave’ for the ship’s younger guests and two new large scale interactive game shows.
During the cruise, guests will also have the opportunity to take part in a series of challenges aimed at breaking Guinness World Record titles through daytime events and a grand evening show in the arena.
At night, the venue features three interactive concerts that bring technology and visuals together.
There are five new shows as the main stage on board MSC World Europa is the World Theater which will stage five new original large scale theatrical shows with a focus on Exploration, Travel, Sea, Theater and Sustainability.
The shows were designed to include amazing talent, LED visuals and incredible backdrops and props, as well as 350 spectacular bespoke costumes.
Shows include Eko with costumes made from recycled materials, the original Amelia Earhart show with an electric bike stunt wheel, A Night on Broadway with classic plays, Cadmo The Landwalker with an emphasis on exploration, and Yellow Submarine with amazing circus and magical elements based on songs by the Beatles.
Located at the stern of the ship, the Panorama Lounge offers music-themed experiences over pre-show drinks and an interactive floor with space-changing designs and rotating screens reflecting the night’s theme.
During the day, guests can project their drawings as GIFs onto interactive screens on the lounge floor, or watch the floor transform into a giant coloring book for all ages to fill in their own designs.
At night, guests can enjoy four immersive 90-minute music experiences showcasing dance styles from across decades and around the world, including samba, tango, waltz and disco.
Featuring live bands, dancers, singers, aerialists and acrobats, each experience follows different themes such as Let’s Get Loud with fiesta-themed music like “Despacito” and “Bailamos”, Ultimate Disco with bright colors and classics like “Boogie Wonderland” and ‘Turn the Beat Around’, ‘Bandstand Boogie’ with old school tunes and ‘Rock Evolution’, a rock ‘n’ roll dance party.
MSC World Europa also features a variety of surprise moments that pop up in different areas of the ship throughout the cruise. Two distinct vibrant exhibits focus on Instagram-ready content centered on the themes of Earth and Ocean. Artists, actors, musicians and bouncy castles will contribute to these surprise experiences on the ship.
Other onboard entertainment attractions include The Venom Drop The Spiral, the longest dry slide at sea, spanning 11 decks.
In addition, the ship will have MSC Cruises’ largest water park with virtual reality technology in its fleet.
Guests can also take part in a variety of activities during their days at sea, from roller disco and rock ‘n’ roll bingo to bumper cars and a soccer-themed challenge.
To complete MSC World Europa’s high-tech entertainment offering, a sundowner DJ party with a holographic DJ experience is held each night.
