New State Mobile: New State Mobile February update: things you should know

PUBG manufacturer Krafton has already started rolling out the February update for its popular battle royale game New State Mobile for iOS and Android. The latest update (version 0.9.45) adds a new battlefield called Lagna that players can visit. This 4 x 4 square kilometer desert wasteland features medium to long range combat spaces and is surrounded by mountain ridges. The game studio claims that this new map is “a real sniper’s playground” that comes with an unpredictable landscape “where threats can hide anywhere.”

The latest update also added two new cable cars that can provide safer modes of transportation. Additionally, Lagna will also feature two new vehicles – Rex, a four-passenger pickup; and Acton, a two-person quad bike – which joins four basic rides available in the game. This update also introduces Survivor Pass Vol. 16 with a new protagonist: Jenny Quick. Players who can complete all story missions are allowed to equip Jenny’s customizable face skin for free.

In addition, upgrading to the Premium Pass gives access to the Jenny Quick costume set. Last but not least, New State Mobile will also receive a number of balance and quality-of-life updates, including changes to screen shake, adjustments to end-game damage in the Blue Zone, and new pursuit rounds for the Mk47 mutant.

The 16 square kilometer desert of Lagna is a sniper’s paradise and “unpredictable” terrain. Its rocky ridges dot the vast landscape, creating opportunities for medium and long-range combat. The new card also replaces New State Mobile’s streetcars with safer travel options. The cable cars not only offer players safety in healing when traversing a map, but also fit better into the desert environment.

For players looking for more of a manual mode of transport, Lagna also includes two new vehicles – the Rex, a four-person, petrol-powered pickup truck, and the Acton, a two-person electric quad that can handle the desert slopes with ease. Joining the two newcomers is a familiar group of other vehicles available in New State Mobile: Buggy, Vulture, Boat, and Aqua Rail

New State Mobile February update: Survivor Pass Volume 16

The Survivor Pass Volume 16 introduces a new New State Mobile protagonist named Jenny Quick. Both free and premium players can unlock Jenny’s free face customization by completing her newly added story missions. Players who upgrade to the Premium Pass will also unlock the first 15 tiers of the Survivor Pass and also receive the New State Jenny Quick costume set.

New State Mobile February update: Blue Zone

With the latest update, New State Mobile’s Blue Zone damage will be higher for players further from the safe zone.

New State Mobile February Update: Weapon Upgrade

The Mk47 Mutant semi-automatic rifle also gets an upgrade with the new C2 customization. This upgrade adds the ability to use tracer rounds. Hitting an enemy with a Pursuit Orb reveals the location to players and their squadmates for 10 seconds, even if they are in cover. A Mk47 Mutant C2 also does higher damage, but these advantages come with some trade-offs. The C2 customization cannot use the magazine slot and suffers from reduced recoil control.
