The lion awakens as the Arks of Omen story draws to a close. See how it all ends and grab new minis for next week’s pre-orders.
Next week, The Arks of Omen will wrap up as Lion “The Lion” El’Johnson and his unimaginative moniker return to show the Dark Angels and everyone else how it’s done. Vashtorr the Arkifane performs his Feel Fall ritual. Traitors unveil great mysteries and the galaxy will never be the same.
And alongside that final book, there are plenty of iconic heroes with bold new minis. As well as a few new Boarding Patrols. Check out what’s available for pre-order next week!
Ark of Omen – The Lion
First off, a celebratory starter set, complete with the lion himself and two art prints:
The lion has awakened from its 10,000-year slumber and wastes no time putting its sword to traitors. The Primarch of the Dark Angels is a monstrously powerful duelist and indomitable leader on the battlefield, armed with the Emperor’s own shield and a massive power sword called the Allegiance.
Alongside Lion El’Jonson, you’ll receive three elite Bladeguard Veterans – the perfect entourage for such a close-range powerhouse – a packed Dark Angels transfer sheet and two beautiful prints featuring key artwork from Arks of Omen: The Lion.
Of course you also want the new book. There you’ll find all the new rules, lore, and thrilling conclusion to Vashtorr the Arkifane’s fiendish storyline.
In addition to completing the latest Warhammer 40,000 story arc, Arks of Omen: The Lion includes expanded boarding rules. In addition to the additional faction rules for the Votann, Thousand Sons, Imperial Agents, and Adeptus Custodes leagues, there are a number of different Dread Encounter missions to add scenarios that tear apart the battlefield itself, sucking walls and doors into the warp during 12 Breaching Operation missions let you smash right through solid walls and leave fiendish traps for your enemies.
Besides the new book and the lion, the Dark Angels have a lot of heroes joining them.

Above all, Supreme Grandmaster Azrael, who is available alone for the first time.
Or Primaris Dante, more gold than oldie, as the saying goes.
And it wouldn’t be fair for Azrael to be alone if Vashtorr the Arkifane didn’t also have his own solo release.
New boarding patrols
There are also two new Boarding Patrols to try out, starting with the Votann Boarding Patrol leagues. They are led by an Einhyr Champion, along with 5 Einhyr Hearthguard, 5 Cthonian Beserks, and 10 Hearthkyn Warriors.
And the Agents of the Imperium Boarding Patrol bring some supporting troops in lead roles with 10 Elucidean Starstriders and 20 Imperial Navy Breachers along with an Eversor Assassin to take it main targets.
