HMD Global has officially launched its latest affordable 4G smartphone – the Nokia C12. Based on Android 12 Go Edition, this device offers a standard Android user interface with improved performance and lower power consumption. The device costs Rs 5,999 and will be available exclusively on Amazon from March 17th.

The device sports a 6.3-inch display with HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. It’s available in Dark Cyan, Charcoal, and Light Mint colors and has a plastic frame and back panel that provide extra protection against accidental offer falling. In addition, the phone comes with a one-year replacement warranty.

The Nokia C12 is powered by an octa-core processor (Unisoc 9863A1) and offers 2GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with a dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage expansion of up to 256GB, and users can expand the RAM by up to Expand 2GB . The device also supports both wired and wireless FM radio.

The main camera on the back of the phone is 8 MP, while the selfie camera is 5 MP with support for features like portrait mode and night mode, as well as face unlock support. In addition, the device offers an optimized software experience with a 30 percent faster app opening speed.

The Nokia C12 comes with a 3,000mAh battery that supports 5W charging and offers good battery life. The device is also IP52 certified against water and dust splashes. The Nokia C12 will receive security patches for two years from the date of global launch, with no Android OS update information.
