After introducing a new line of graphics cards, NVIDIA beat its sales expectations but fell short of expectations in terms of earnings per share.

This is just above the expectation of $5.8 billion. NVIDIA also returned $0.58 in earnings per share. This misses the expectation of $0.69. Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, made a statement in the earnings report.
