Samsung’s intelligent platform, Bixby, converts the text to audio and shares it directly with the caller on the line on your behalf, showing you what the caller is saying by converting their voice to text. This feature is perfect for those moments when you need to communicate but can’t necessarily be heard, e.g. B. in a crowded train or at a loud concert. This feature allows you to take your calls in any environment without disturbing or missing a beat.

What you want from your device can change throughout the day. The functions you use for your morning routine to get up and get active may not be the same ones you focus on during the workday. With the routinesyou can trigger a series of actions on your device based on your activities and with One UI 5 modesyou can create custom settings for different areas of your life from sleeping and relaxing to exercising and driving.
For example, while you exercise, your priority might be to mute notifications to stay in the zone and play music. Alternatively, when it’s time for bed, you can turn off the sound and turn on dark mode to relax.

Samsung has also refined this notifications in One UI 5 to be more intuitive, easy to read at a glance, and redesigned to offer more defined answer and decline buttons when a call comes in Pop-up call display.
Beyond the general design considerations, personalization and the ability to express yourself are also an important part of everyone’s mobile experience. To take this to the next level, One UI 5 brings the popular video wallpaper from the Lockstar of Good Lock app straight to the lock screen. With just a few taps, you can crop a video to turn your most memorable moments into a moving tribute on your phone. You can customize this lock screen even more by changing wallpaper, clock style and notification pop-ups all in one screen.
A mobile experience built around you
One UI 5 not only gives you options to curate a custom look and feel for your device, but it also introduces new features to help you get things done more efficiently. For example, widgets in One UI 5 offer exciting new options and the ability to keep your home screen clean and tidy with new features Stacked widgets. With this new feature, you can drag and drop widgets on top of each other and swipe left or right to quickly and easily scroll through each one to free up space on your home screen and use it more efficiently.
To further streamline mobile tasks and activities, One UI 5 also comes with new ones Smart suggestions for widgets. Based on your usage patterns and the context of your mobile activity, Smart Suggestions automatically suggest apps and actions that further personalize the mobile experience.

This program allows attendees to access the interface early and share their feedback to create the best possible experience. This year, Samsung launched its One UI 5 open beta program sooner than ever to ensure everyone has access to the exciting new interface as soon as possible.

From small details like smoother gestures for a more refined look and feel, to entire features, users have had a say in the development path. Users found that the security dashboard was a much appreciated feature, paving the way for additional updates that give people more control over their privacy, and feedback also indicated that the new Bixby text calling feature was incredibly useful for answering calls in difficult environments. Therefore, this feature should support English early next year.
