OnePlus has announced a new stable OxygenOS update for its flagship phone, which includes the latest monthly patch.
In his community thread post (opens in new tab), OnePlus announced the new OxygenOS C.22 update for its flagship smartphone OnePlus 10 Pro. It is an incremental update with IN NE2211_11.C.22, EU NE2213_11.C.22and NA NE2215_11.C.22 Build numbers implying the rollout for the Indian, European and North American markets respectively.
The new update’s changelog includes several recent system changes, including the latest Android security patch from November 2022, just in time for December. Other improvements also improve Wi-Fi stability, the community thread notes. Several system stability and performance updates aim to increase the number of apps actively running in the background.
The OxygenOS C.22 update also fixes several issues on the OnePlus flagship. This includes a fix for the screen flickering that often occurs when switching to dark mode and using the in-screen fingerprint sensor. The new update fixed the other minor display issue affecting the lock screen background.
The other nifty fixes with the new Oxygen C.22 update are aimed at preventing the camera app from crashing in certain scenarios and fixing a lag issue when switching between apps.
OnePlus says said firmware will be available as an OTA update to a smaller percentage of people starting Tuesday; A broader rollout across all regions is expected in the coming days.
As already hinted at, it’s the second potential upgrade to the OnePlus 10 Pro, following the release of the stable OxygenOS 13 in September. The upgrade brought a new aquamorph design alongside improved earbud connectivity.
