Good job, focus on quality not quantity One Plus isn’t like the rest of the other OEMs that churn out a billion mid-phones

Shock, 5 hours agoWow, you really have to be Einstein to use NFC… It’s like “unlock phone and hang up… moreOkay so do it now where is the chip located on the phone. But again, not all phones will have the same problem. Or that your phone was a defective device. Idk I really use NFC, but the three times I’ve used it, it’s worked quite well on both of my phones

All: super/pro/T/exclusive/F/S/X/+5 G no longer works! Sounds weird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A “Pro” phone without a good zoom is not a real “Pro”.

Anonymous, 5 hours agoIt’s best at nothing. Everything is just pushed the way Apple likes it. Your taste does… moreSure, pick the most ridiculous price in this one country and present it as “anything that costs Apple $3000”. Also, I’d rather have Apple’s way, which is potentially stupid but at least works. As opposed to 55 jerky implementations of everything across all Android brands. I’m sorry if that doesn’t excite me that much.

Shock, 7 hours agoZero control over anything. And still works best. Not like Android, where I couldn’t… anymoreIt’s best at nothing.
Everything is just pushed the way Apple likes it.
Her taste doesn’t matter to her.
$3000 in some markets and user still need to pay for 3rd apps to do some things.
Extremely pathetic.

Shock, 6 hours agoSafe genius, are you funding a €900 purchase for something that may or may not work? … morePlease remain as calm as possible. Be open to discussion and opinions. I’ve been on your way and it only creates limitations. Ignore if you don’t like. God bless. If I manage to insult like everyone else, I apologize.

I don’t understand all the hatred of OnePlus at all. I got the 10 Pro about a month ago and have never been happier with my decision. It was a solid, great all rounder phone. It was really smooth and hassle free, everything works as expected. Love the screen, the sound, the charging, the battery was decent, the cameras were really great and the haptics are just addictive. And the kicker is that it costs almost half as much as comparable phones from Apple and Samsung where I live. And Google phones are not sold here either. I have the 12/256 variant in Volcanic Black and I just love the finish on the lens. The back is beautiful. Undoubtedly a really great, really wonderful phone. OxygenOS 12 works great too. Very smooth and responsive. Phone is fast and solid. No complaints from me.
Considering that there is no vanilla OnePlus 10, this could be the reason for this decision. I still find it odd that the Model T used to be a refreshed version with updated hardware. But that’s no longer the case with the 10T. It should be called 10 Lite.

If the phone is so dumb it can’t reliably buy me a damn coffee from a machine or even a store, would you? Maybe I wouldn’t question everything Android-related if it wasn’t so goddamn jerky all the time. Unlike the iPhone, which is now also old, but EVERYTHING works absolutely fine. Can you spot the damn difference? Not to mention many other things I’ve asked about Android like “How’s 3rd party password manager integration these days?”. Guess how many replies I got to this. ZERO. But sure, I should rush to a store and buy a new Android phone because you are offended that iPhone works better and I can rely on it anytime, anywhere and can’t get reliable information on everything I ask about Android. And here of all places it’s always so loud, as if you were the masters of Android and knew EVERYTHING. But you can’t even answer basic things that would convince me to get an Android phone again. heh

There is nothing “pro” about these devices. It simply means “bigger screen and a zoom lens”. I’m glad it’s dropped.

ALonZo, 7 hours agoSounds like you’ve had some bad experiences with older Android phones. I was an iPhone user…moreYes, I take into account that some kind of NFC implementation on this phone could be bad because I struggled with that when it was a relevant new model. But on the other hand, it makes me question things. Imagine giving away $900 for Pixel 7 Pro and having the exact same issue. Or Xiaomi 12T Pro for 700€ and have the same problem. Or stick with my prehistoric iPhone XR, which is just guaranteed to work, and I can be sure any other iPhone would work just as well. That’s the main problem. I could sell it used and just take the loss, but it’s difficult to sell used product that is essentially brand new as people wonder if something is wrong and you’re not doing an ad that you’ve had trouble with So how would it pay to buy such a phone? Sure, details, but it’s a problem. And leaving €900 sitting there getting stale and falling in value isn’t exactly what I have in mind.

ALonZo, 7 hours agoSounds like you’ve had some bad experiences with older Android phones. I was an iPhone user…moreYou can’t have a reasonable argument with that guy. He keeps comparing his ten year old cheap Android phones to iPhones and comes to the conclusion that all Android phones are bad or something
Basically, he’ll make the most illogical statements about any Android phone, only to end up making the iPhone look better
