At a Tuesday press conference, OTTO Motors (Booth N7537) unveiled its latest autonomous mobile robot (AMR), OTTO 600. OTTO 600 unlocks important new workflows with its ability to handle pallets, carts and other payloads up to 600 kg (1,322 pounds). move ). With an all-metal construction and IP54 rating, OTTO 600 is designed for use in the most demanding factory environments.
“In 2015, OTTO 1500 defined the heavy-duty AMR category. In 2017, OTTO 100 quickly became responsible for the largest AMR installations in the industry. In 2022 we launched the OTTO Lifter, the world’s first truly autonomous forklift. Today we are proud to introduce the OTTO 600, a mid-range AMR that offers the perfect balance of power and agility,” said Matt Rendall, CEO and co-founder of OTTO Motors. “Powered by our industry-leading autonomous software, OTTO now offers an unmatched material handling portfolio.”
ProMat visitors are invited to see for themselves how OTTO’s new robot works. Key features include: maneuverable in tight spaces, durable construction for demanding environments, fast and safe around people and objects, and versatile for various tasks.
Attendees can also experience OTTO’s latest software version, 2.28, which offers faster and safer traffic movements and a new setup configuration interface for faster workflow setup. This is the sixth software release in the last three years.
